This is the privacy policy for certain parts of http://www.1site1moment.com and http://www.gazeteer.com
When you visit this site, standard information is collected by the server such as your IP address (which can be used to locate you geographically) and your user agent (which will show the internet browser you are using and your operating system). We will also store the URL of the referrer so if you followed a hyperlink to this website, the address of the page you came from will be obtained.
Additionally, the length of time you spend viewing each page will be recorded, along with any cookies that were stored on the computer you are using.
These records will be stored in a log file, so that individual records can be viewed. This file will not be available to the general public although analysis may be made using third party tools.
Login System
This site uses a login system that allows the user to log in so that they can be identified for example when participating in the forum. When signing up, you will need to provide a username and password. The username will be made public but the password will not be released to anyone, although it may be visible internally.
When you are not logged in, you will be known as a 'Guest'. you will be able to participate in most activities, such as viewing pages or posting anonymously, however, certain parts of the site will not be able to function properly if you are not logged in, such as the 1site1moment page editor (where there is no way to determine of anonymous users are the same person when they come back to edit their site). In these situations, login will be required although as much of the site as possible will be available to anonymous users, such as viewing web pages created by other people.
Information Submitted
Information submitted through the contact form can be kept private, unless you request that it is made public. Passwords, likewise will also be kept private. However, other information that is submitted to the site such as comments in forums or content submitted to the 1site1moment page editor will be made public, even if you do not attempt to publicly link to this information. Toby and 1site1moment may remove, change, copy or do whatever they like with any information submitted, without any need to compensate you in any way. If you are not happy with this, please do not submit your information to 1site1moment.
Any contact details submitted to the site (e.g. email address) whether in a private or public way will not be used for any purpose other than displaying them as these comments are normally displayed and communicating with you regarding the particular service that it is being used on, unless you state that it can be used otherwise. These details will not be sold to any third party.
